Background

Ochiba is a leading UK-based SAP partner, specialising in the sale, implementation and support of SAP Business One into manufacturing, wholesale distribution and services companies. The business is based in the East Midlands of England and has been well-established for over 20 years.

Challenges

Ochiba has been working with Cloud4Partners since 2024, using our AWS cloud platform to host their SAP Business One customers. Previously, they worked with a local IT support business who offered their own hosting service, as well as having their own in-house cloud offering, but when the previous IT business was acquired, it was no longer cost-effective to carry on working this way.

Solution

When Ochiba began talking to the Cloud4Partners' team, it quickly became apparent that not only could they move existing customers and infrastructure, they could also develop the idea of their own white-label infrastructure through their multitenant facility. They wanted to provide their customers with leading-edge, mainstream cloud infrastructure at a cost-effective price point.

According to James Thompson, Business Development Manager, "The big advantage with Cloud4Partners is that because they have the Ascarii connection, they understand the infrastructure and how it has to be built and leveraged to get the most out of SAP Business One and in particular, the HANA platform."

According to James, "the support we've had throughout the projects we've done, and also from a presales' perspective, has been a big advantage. If the guys at Cloud4Partners say something, they do it."

Cloud4Partners' AWS platform is providing Ochiba customers with improved performance and uptime. James says, "customers moving from the previous platform to C4P have experienced better performance and are experiencing a level of continuity and uptime that they're happy with."
